Added on 24 May 2013
The Planning Inspector has dismissed the appeal by TNP against Breckland Council's Enforcement notice requiring the removal of poultry rearing polytunnels at Breckles Heath.
The full text of the Decision can be read by clicking here.
The particular Appeal concerned certain polytunnels that TNP claimed were not "development", but the Inspector has also commented on other development on the site adjacent to the Peddars Way National Trail, notably the feed hoppers and roadway, describing it as "a breach of planning control."
The applicant also appealed against Breckland Council's notice requirements of 3 months for compliance, saying that this was too short. The Inspector has decided not to extend this period.
The Appeal decision concludes by saying, "I dismiss the appeal and uphold the enforcement notice".
